Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds and cancellations work for service fees paid to MSH Online Services.

This policy explains when service fees paid to MSH Online Services may or may not be refunded. It applies to the facilitation/service fee we charge — not to statutory government fees.

📖 Overview

MSH Online Services charges a service fee for assisting you with document applications and government/private services. Because much of our work involves time, effort, and submission to third-party government portals immediately after payment, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis as described below.

Section 02
When You ARE Eligible for a Refund

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund of our service fee in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same service due to a technical error.
  • Service not started — you cancel before we begin processing your application.
  • We are unable to provide the service — if we cannot process your request for reasons on our side, and no work has been done.
  • Payment error — money was deducted but no service request was created.
In case of duplicate or failed-transaction charges, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method.
Section 03
🚫 Non-Refundable Situations

Service fees are non-refundable in the following cases:

  • Work has already begun or the application has been submitted to the government portal.
  • The application is rejected by the government department for reasons such as ineligibility, incorrect details provided by you, or document mismatch.
  • Delays caused by government portals, server downtime, or the concerned department.
  • You provided incorrect, incomplete, or false information.
  • You change your mind after the service has been completed or the document delivered.
  • Government / statutory fees that have already been paid to the department on your behalf.
Our service fee covers our time and effort in facilitating your application. A rejection by the government does not entitle you to a refund of the service fee, as the work was still performed.

Cancellation

You may request cancellation of a service before processing has started. Once we have begun working on your application or submitted it to a government portal, cancellation may not be possible, and the service fee becomes non-refundable.

🔄 Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method (the card, UPI, or bank account used for payment via Razorpay). We do not issue cash refunds for online payments.

Total time is typically 7–10 business days from approval. Exact crediting time depends on your bank or card issuer.

🏛️ Government / Statutory Fees

Any government fees, application charges, or statutory payments made to a government department on your behalf are non-refundable by us, as these are paid directly to the concerned authority and are outside our control.

Please include your ticket number, the service name, date of payment, and the reason for your refund request so we can process it quickly.
